The Need for Spiritual and Emotional Healing
The Bible teaches that “the kingdom of God is…righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” [Rm. 14:17] Yet many Christians wonder why they continue to live defeated lives. They struggle to gain victory over specific sins and problems with relationships. They question their lack of spiritual growth.
In reality, most Christians carry around extra spiritual and emotional “baggage,” unaware of the weight which they are carrying. This baggage is usually the result of past hurts and other negative experiences.
God, however, sent His Son to purchase complete freedom for all believers! He desires your growth in Christ and has made every provision for your freedom, through the ministry of His Church.
We all need to help each other to confront the issues of our past, carrying them to the cross and releasing them once and for all. AGAPE Prayer Ministry can help us to experience the abundant life Jesus offers.
What is AGAPE Prayer Ministry?
AGAPE Prayer Ministry is a loving, healing ministry empowered and directed by the Holy Spirit. It is an organized thorough process in which a trained ministry team helps an individual discern the spiritual components of past experiences and present problems and behaviors.
This team of three persons will meet with you in an unhurried time of prayer and ministry. As the team talks and prays with you, they will be listening for the Holy Spirit to reveal spiritual roots and issues in your life. They will then help you to apply the truth in God’s Word to those areas, bringing you cleansing and healing.
Then you will know the truth,
and the truth will set you free…
I tell you the truth,
everyone who sins is a slave to sin.
Now a slave has no permanent
place in the family,
but a son belongs to it forever.
So, if the Son sets you free,
you will be free indeed.

What Should I Expect in a Ministry Session?
The ministry team will lead you through a defined process. During the first phase you will be asked to read through a “Spiritual Bondage Inventory;” an extensive list of sinful activities in which you may have been involved, presently or in the past. The team will then pray with you to ensure that all these sins have been dealt with thoroughly, from God’s perspective.
During the second phase, the team will lead you in a discussion of the primary relationships in your life. They will help you deal with any sins which have been committed against you and sins you have committed against others. They will also pray to discern whether any spiritual bondage, demonization, or unhealed wounds have resulted.
Most AGAPE sessions last approximately three hours. The number of sessions varies, but the minimum is usually two.
Everything that is said or done in the session is held in strict confidence. No notes are ever taken. In addition, the team will pray at the end that God will enable them to forget all that was shared. You are the only one who may choose to share with others what took place.
There is no charge for this ministry.
