2009 National Day of Prayer report
On Wednesday the 6th of May, the forecast for Thursday the 7th was cloudy with rain and thunder showers. But God’s people were praying for sunny skies for the National Day of Prayer gathering outside on Tracy Plaza in front of city hall in downtown Jamestown. – Thursday morning the skies were dark and cloudy. The local forecast, as heard on the radio, was still for a day filled with rain and thundershowers. But God’s people were praying. – At 10:00am the skies over Jamestown cleared and stayed clear for the rest of the day. God came to the gathering on the Plaza, there was a wonderful spirit of unity, the singing and praying were powerful and God was glorified.
This gathering for the annual NDP observance in Jamestown was organized and facilitated by our Better Place Director. He was also the keynote speaker.
