January CLMI Breakfast Report
Chautauqua Lake Men of Integrity Report on January Breakfast
When the Leadership Team for the Chautauqua Lake Region Men of Integrity (CLRMI) asked themselves, “What is the difference between the breakfasts that we offer and any other men’s breakfast in a local church?” the answer was immediately obvious: Unity!
When the men of the region gathered at First Covenant Church in Jamestown, NY for the January 2010 CLRMI breakfast, about sixty men were in attendance. More important that that number, however, was the fact that over fifteen different congregations were represented. One group of seven men sitting around a table were pleasantly surprised, as they introduced themselves to each other, to discover that they represented seven different congregations.
After breakfast, the men move from the basement fellowship hall up to the sanctuary of the church building. There worship was led by some of the men from the First Covenant Church. Before Rev. Adam Rohler, of First Covenant, shared an inspiring and challenging message, Jamie Sposato, representing the CLRMI Leadership Team, presented an overview of the purpose of CLRMI and provided a synopsis of upcoming events. – The next event on the calendar is a morning workshop on prayer titled, I Want Men to Pray. This will take place at Christ First United Methodist in Jamestown, NY on Saturday the 20th of March, 2010. The speaker/presenter will be the Director of The Better Place, Roy Miller.
