This was a one-day School that ran from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The topics for the day were: “Call to Humility,” “Call to Pray,” Call to Seek God” and “Call to Repent.” These teaching were all based on 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Our prayers are battering rams against the strongholds of a spiritual enemy. The results of such partnership praying are not always immediately evident. The walls of Jericho appeared to be just as strong and impenetrable after six days as they were after the first day of marching around the city, but it is a good thing the children of Israel did not quit on the sixth day.

As always, God showed up.
The topics covered that day included: “Building our House of Prayer,” “Corporate prayer,” and “Healing Prayer.” Participants practiced what they were learning during the School and reports since the day of the School are that many participants are implementing their new understanding in their congregations.

It was held on the lower level of Schwab Manor on the Heritage Ministries Retirement Campus in Gerry, NY. Several people who had attended previous session of the School in 2009 were present. There were also eleven first time attendees.

George Otis, of the Sentinel Group, has documented a number of things that attract God. One of those things is prayer. Another is unity. Others are faith, humility and worship. Put that all together, and any session of the School of Prayer is a “God magnet.” The session on the 13th of March was no exception.
