The Chautauqua Lake Region Men of Integrity is a ministry of The Better Place. This ministry exists to provide opportunities for men to gather in unity, across denominational and congregational boundaries, to learn from God’s Word and from each other regarding how to fulfill God’s purposes for our lives. The goal is to encourage men to love the Lord with all their hearts, souls and strength, to be faithful participants in a local congregation and to be the spiritual leaders in their homes.
The Executive Board of the CLRMI is comprised of the Reverend Leecroft Clark, Chairperson (716-483-1111); Mark Summers, treasurer (716-499-4459); Charlie Hodges, evangelism coordinator (716-969-6407); Todd Hnatyszyn, Worship Coordinator (716-664-4060); Don Howig, at large (716-488-0095); Rick Slagle, at large (716-483-5422); Jamie Sposato, secretary (716-338-5966); and the Reverend Roy Miller, liaison from TBP (716-488-9918). These gentlemen come from five different congregations and denominations.
The CLRMI has an official annual membership which is open to all men who believe Jesus and who have surrendered to his Lordship. Members of CLRMI publicly embrace the following six commitments:

Our Chautauqua Lake Region Men of Integrity (CLMI) – a ministry of The Better Place – brought Psychologist/Media-personality/marriage and family expert, Dr. Kevin Leman to Jamestown on Saturday the 16th of October 2010. Our CLMI leaders met for lunch with Dr. Leman at Roberto’s restaurant on Friday the 15th to go over final details for the big day. Then on Saturday they keep Dr. Leman very busy!

A couple things we are always endeavoring to do through the ministries of The Better Place is to encourage people to grow in their understanding and practice of prayer and also to spiritually refresh pastors and other leaders in Christian ministry.

Dear Prayer Partners of The Better Place, In all of our prayers which are truly partnering with God for God’s purposes to be fulfilled, we are engaging in spiritual warfare. Our prayers are battering rams against the strongholds of a spiritual enemy. The results of such partnership praying are not always immediately evident. The walls of Jericho appeared to be just as strong and impenetrable after six days as they were after the first day of marching around the city, but it is a good thing the children of Israel did not quit on the sixth day.

The Chautauqua Lake Region Men of Integrity sponsored a morning-long workshop on prayer on Saturday the 20th of March 2010. This Workshop was held at Christ-First UMC in Jamestown, NY. The theme verse for this Workshop was 1 Timothy 2:8, "I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing".
